Thad Woods Auction offers quality merchandise on the market today at low prices. Since 1975, we have provided auction services to the people of Western North Carolina. We specialize in New Merchandise, Estate Auctions either in house or on sight, Business Liquidation Auctions in house or on sight, special Antique and Consignment Auctions for dealers and individuals in the community. Our 32 years of experience and commitment to excellence have earned us the reputation as the best Auction in the area.

Our facility: We have approximately a 5000 square foot facility with 2000 square foot warehouse. We have a seating capicity of 250+ with heating and air conditioning for your comfort. Lots of parking and well lighted parking lot. We have a wonderful concession stand for your eating enjoyment during the auction. We try to have a combination business and family relationship.  Invite your family and friends to attend an auction with you. You are in for a treat!

Our Dealers: We have a different dealer every night to give you a wonderful selection of different merchandise. We truly, never know what will on the auction block until the truck pulls in and unloads unless we are having an Estate or Antique Auction and the merchandise is previously set up on the floor. It is like Christmas every weekend. You never know what is coming through the door.

Homes By The Woods was created nearly 5 years ago after we built our home and found out who wonderful the modular homes truly are. We are very proud to be a Handcrafted Homes Dealer, which is a company that makes superior quality stick built Modular Homes. We have been a part of the Handcrafted Homes family for 4 years and have built over 28 homes for satisfied clients in Western North Carolina.
