THE BOOK ABOUT THE AUCTION

As most of you know, Thad Woods Auction was established in 1975. We have met so many wonderful people, shared great moments and funny moments over the years. We have decided to write a book about the auction. It will include things that have happened at the auction, people we have met over the years, some of the things that we have sold and found at an auction, watching children grow up at the auction and then bring their children to the auction, about friendships that we have developed thru the years etc.

We would like for you to be a part of the book. We want you to submit your store, memory etc. of something that happened or that makes the auction special to you and your family. It will probably take at least a year to get everyone’s stories and pictures together and then have it published. You may have a special friend as a result of the auction etc. I know a lot of you get together, go out for dinner before coming to the auction and even have become life long friendS since meeting here at the auction.

Please include your name and address with your story. If you would like, you may also send a picture that we may use in the book.

(We would also like to know your occupation to be able to show what a cross section of people that we have attending the auction. We will not use your name in the occupation listing, just the type of occupation or profession only.)

You might remember something about one of the gospel sings that we have had over the years or something about our New Year’s Eve Gospel singing.
